Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to send more humanitarian aid for the victims of devastating flood in Pakistan.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), TEHRAN, Iran -- According to the Information and Press Bureau of Majlis, Larijani made the remarks in a telephone conversation with the Pakistani National Assembly Speaker Fahmida Mirza on latest developments in the aftermath of shocking flood in the country.

During telephone conversation, Larijani also expressed condolences to the Pakistani government and nation over the incident and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.

The Pakistani parliament speaker, for her part, thanked for the humanitarian assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

She also thanked for the sympathy of the Iranian parliament speaker, adding that the recent flood has affected the whole country and briefed the Iranian counterpart on details of the catastrophe.
